Chinese New Year: Join us for the annual Chinese New Year celebration on Saturday, February 2, at the First Free Activity Center. Activities begin at 3:30 with dumpling making followed by a pot luck dinner and special speaker. Childcare is provided by reservation at stlccf.org.

A New Venture in Serving Carman Trails: As you know, First Free has been partnering with Carman Trails Elementary School at various levels. Thank you for your participation as we serve underprivileged children through the Carman Trails Partnership Backpack Program by collecting food items to provide a weekend’s supply of food for 22 children. You may give at the drop off baskets at each entrance to the main building. If you want to be a part of this ministry, please contact backpack@efree.org.

Mission Community Lunch:  Join us for the next Mission Community Lunch on Sunday, March 3, directly after second service (12:15 pm) in the Activity Center. You will be encouraged, challenged, and thankful for those who God has called to send to the ends of the earth.  Join us as we hear from Paul Stolwyk and Ryan and Shannon Potter. Mark your calendars today and let us know you’re coming by RSVP-ing to Laura at lcalys@efree.org. Bring a friend to introduce them to First Free missions!

The National Day of Prayer theme is Love One Another, based on John 13:34 (“Love one another just as I have loved you.”) From Dr. Ronnie Floyd: “We need a baptism of love by the Holy Spirit that will immerse the entire Church of Jesus Christ in America and a baptism of love that will immerse all of America today,… From the church house to the state house and all the way to the White House, we need to learn to love one another.” Please join us on Thursday, May 2, at noon as we gather to pray at the Manchester Police Station. For more information visit www.nationaldayofprayer.org.

National Day of Prayer at First Free: Plan to gather to pray for our community, state, and nation and for those He has put into leadership on Thursday, May 2, at 7 pm in the Chapel.

Missionary Support Challenge: Our missionaries have a very important and, at times, a very difficult job. They need our support! The Support Challenge has one simple goal: we want every First Free missionary to have the encouragement of a community support in St. Louis, whether from an Adult Community, small group, or group of families. Some groups have disbanded and we have new missionary families so the need is greater than ever. Questions? Contact Cathy Nelson (cnelson@efree.org).

Monthly Mission Prayer: Please join us for a focused time of prayer for missions on the first Thursday of each month in Room 360 at 7 pm.

Outreach Support:  As always, God is faithful to provide for all that we need. We are humbled by the generosity of the church at First Free, and your giving is an answer to prayer. Would you please pray about giving to missions and outreach? You can give online (efree.org/give) or by check – be sure to indicate that your gift is for Outreach Ministries. There are missionaries who are in need of financial and prayer support. If you are led to give, please contact Cathy Nelson (cnelson@efree.org). She will direct you.
